Mara is truly exceptional—kind, attentive, and incredibly personable. I make it a point to visit when she’s working because she’s such a fantastic server. People should keep in mind that this is a college bar, so service can occasionally be slow, but it’s worth the wait. The food fantastic. The Thursday wing buckets and $3 Wednesday burgers are unbeatable deals. While the menu could use an update to reflect current prices and specials, the service here has always been top-notch.

If you’re near the U of M, Sally’s is the perfect place to unwind. The staff is attentive, and the happy hour prices are some of the best I’ve seen in ages. Located just off the light rail near the university, the atmosphere is vibrant. Even during a packed Thursday at 4:30, everything ran smoothly. Smiling faces and lively conversations made for an incredible experience. I highly recommend Sally’s to anyone in the area!

Sally’s has so much to offer. Their wings are outstanding, the drinks are a great value, and the atmosphere is unbeatable. Sure, you might wait a bit for your drinks, but it’s a small price to pay for such a lively and fun spot. Even after graduating a year ago, I still find myself coming back on Thursdays and Saturdays.
